October 21, 2019
Whippany, NJ, October 21, 2019 — Corbin Wood, Co-Owner and COO of Snow Companies, has been honored with DTC Perspective’s Innovator Award ahead of the DTC Forum on Social Media & Technology.
Corbin has dedicated his career to helping healthcare companies tell compelling stories about their brands. He spent his formative years at the Urban Institute and the University of Michigan, where he supported a grant to evaluate the impact of various kidney failure treatment modalities, honing his ability to translate data into compelling information. After completing a dual masters program in Business and Public Health at Emory University, he successfully launched several blockbuster brands for Biogen, Serono, and Novartis living both in the US and abroad.
Seeing the potential in patient engagement, he joined Snow Companies as a co-owner and Chief Operating Officer. In the course of this partnership, Brenda Snow and Corbin have been able to promote patient engagement and give it the importance it has today, growing the firm from <$1M in sales to over $70M and 350+ employees.
“A smart guy with a big heart”
Corbin was instrumental in leading Snow Companies through a minority investment by private equity firm Westview Partners in 2017 and in the subsequent transaction a year later, in which Snow Companies was acquired by Omnicom Health Group, the largest healthcare marketing and communications group in the world, and part of Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC). Snow Companies has maintained and strengthened its market leadership throughout these years.
On the philanthropic side, Corbin is a board member at Angel City Sports, the leading Paralympic movement in Southern California, creating sports opportunities for anyone with a physical disability. Brenda Snow, founder and CEO of Snow Companies, said: “Corbin is a smart guy with a big heart. I am proud to be calling him my colleague and friend.”
