ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSBILITIES:

The Production Manager must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:

  • Maintains departmental workflow processes and standard operating procedures
  • Ensures team is compliant with reconciling all expenses according to the company policy
  • Responsible for paying all vendor invoicing in a timely manner
  • Reminds all producer teams to turn in final production budgets within two weeks of a completed shoot
  • Maintains and updates the video department calendar and Snow’s master creative calendar with all productions
  • Communicates with account teams on any video needs outside of current productions in process
  • Works closely with Video SVP on assigning staffing to all productions and trainings
  • Communicates producer team assignments to account teams for productions
  • Responsible for sourcing and confirming freelancers for training needs
  • Oversees all projects at a high level, assisting teams with tasks as needed
  • Helps to maintain and, when needed, build up team morale
  • Team player

  • US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Training

Required Experience:

  • BS or BA with a major course of study in Media/Video Production
  • Minimum 6 years production experience at an agency, production house, or news station
  • Experience in project management or management duties that entail organization and structure
  • Detail-oriented and proven ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Demonstrate creative decision-making and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Effectively manage project schedules and works under rigorous time constraints
  • Proficient with MAC, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Apple Final Cut Studio
  • Working knowledge of today’s top digital cinema cameras
  • Some experience working as a DOP for a production
  • Working knowledge of EFP lighting techniques
  • Working knowledge of digital still photography
