Snow Companies Honored with “Poor Potter” Award

Williamsburg, VA, February 6, 2019 — The York County Economic Development Authority has awarded Snow Companies with the “Poor Potter” Award. The award is named after William Rogers’ pottery, an 18th century industrial operation based in Yorktown that played a critical role in establishing economic independence for the colony of Virginia. Snow Companies is being honored for its recent spectacular expansion. Corbin Wood, COO of Snow Companies, accepted the award tonight and acknowledged York County and Jim Noel’s efforts in supporting Snow Companies’ contributions to local economic activity.
